  • Queen Elizabeth II - Rest In Peace

    Fri 16 Sep 2022

As a school community we are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our beloved Queen Elizabeth II. We give thanks to God for her life, reign, faith and service to the people of our country and the commonwealth. She truly was a great example of duty, dedication and inspiration and we pray for all her family, including our new King Charles III, during this sad time. We are very grateful that we were able to celebrate her special Platinum Jubilee just a few months ago.

  • Happy St Osburg's Feast Day!

    Fri 09 Sep 2022

Although, it was tinged with sadness, following the news of the Queen’s passing, it was still lovely to gather together as a whole school community today to celebrate the feast of our patron Saint Osburg. The children were wonderfully prayerful, reverent and joyful in their singing. It was also a fitting way to prayer together for the Queen, her family, our nation and our new King, Charles III. Everyone then enjoyed an ice cream treat afterwards as I’m sure Her Majesty would have wanted us to!  Special thanks also to Janet Wiltshaw for a fantastic talk on the history of St Osburg’s and our beautiful church! J

We ask St Osburg, our special Coventry saint, to bless us all during this new academic year.

  • Virtues of the half term - Compassionate & Loving

    Thu 08 Sep 2022

Pupils are growing to be compassionate towards others, near and far, especially the less fortunate; and loving by their just actions and forgiving words. Catholic Schools help their pupils grow by being compassionate and loving in the way they are treated especially when a pupil is in trouble; and by opening their eyes to those who suffer poverty, injustice or violence.
