This week, for Safer Internet Day on Tuesday, the children in KS2 took part in a special assembly to help develop the skills needed to keep safe when using the internet. This year's theme was ‘Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online.' They are now more familiar with the warning signs to look out for and know how to respond safely if they feel they are being taken advantage of. The learning continued once back in the classrooms with children taking part in a live lesson. Even our younger pupils got involved (with a little help from Buddy the Dog).
We would also like to thank PCSOs Jake and Adam for spending this morning in school delivering online safety workshops across KS2. They discussed the dangers the children might come across when using the internet and the importance of making sure they always 'do the right thing' when accessing it.
