Godiva day

Our Year 5 pupils joined Lady Godiva, the Godiva sisters representing ladies from around the world, the Lord Mayor, Father Sunday and many other guests and visitors in the city centre to celebrate Godiva day. The children took part in a procession behind the banners through town and then performed a dance telling the story of Coventry at the time of Godiva and Leofric to a medley of Beatles songs, in Priory Gardens. Well done children – your dancing was amazing!
