I was delighted to find out this week that St Osburg’s had been rated as 3rd in the city by the Coventry Telegraph in their ‘Real Schools Guide.’ The ranking system is based on results, teaching, progress and attendance using lots of different measures from publicly available data to paint an accurate picture of every aspect of life at schools, and has been welcomed by Academics and Government ministers as a way of helping parents find out how their local schools are performing. This is the third year that we have been in the top 5 and is a wonderful achievement and is testimony to the dedication and hard work of everyone in the school community. I wish to personally thank the staff for their commitment to providing a high standard of education and care, the governors for their support and continuous drive for improvement, the parents for working in partnership with us particularly with attendance matters, punctuality, uniform and homework and finally I want to thank and congratulate our fabulous pupils for their enthusiastic attitudes, marvellous manners and for just being thoroughly gorgeous children to spend each day with! Well done everyone! J
