Science 'Growth' Photo Competition

  Year 5 returned from a fantastic Lenten retreat at Alton castle this week. We were  so impressed to hear of their fantastic behaviour, attitudes and participation. Special thanks to Mr Dingley for organising the whole trip and also to Miss Howes and Mrs Adeyemi for accompanying the children.

  

• Science Photo Competition

  Over the Easter holidays, the children were invited to take part in a 'Growth' themed photo competition linked to British Science Week. Thank you for all of the wonderful and creative entries which made the task of judging very challenging. We had more then 60 entries and chose an EYFS/KS1 winner and a KS2 winner, with10 runners up from across the school. Congratulations to Ansson in Y2 for his photographs of swan eggs and baby signets and to Olivia in Y4 for her collage of garden flowers which she has grown from bulbs. Every child who entered received a certificate and a packet of sunflower seeds to grow at home.
