  • New School Council

    Fri 25 Sep 2015
On Friday we inaugurated our new School Council for this academic year. Congratulations to: Shenise, Mackenzie, Noelly, Laigan, Natalia and Gaurav! The children have been presented with a unique St Osburg’s School Council badge and have a special notice board so the children across the school know which children are on the council. The School Council will be meeting once a fortnight with Miss Carey to plan events, give feedback from their link classes and discuss ideas that will improve the school. We are very proud of our School Council and value their input and opinions in order to contribute to the ongoing success of St Osburg’s.
  • New Head Boy and Girl

    Fri 18 Sep 2015

This week we have been holding our own whole school elections for a Head Boy & Head Girl. Any Y6 pupils who wished to nominate themselves as a potential candidate had to write a letter of application. These were shortlisted to a final 2 boys and girls who prepared speeches to deliver to the whole school during Monday Mission assembly. They were Aston, Mackenzie, Oliwia and Shenise. I must say all 4 shortlisted pupils spoke confidently and persuasively and I certainly felt that it was very hard to choose between them all. The candidates were campaigning for votes all week. Every child in the school has had the chance to cast their vote in the ballot boxes today and the results announced today were:

Head Boy –Aston Hughes Head Girl- Oliwia Kotwa
