Science 'Growth' Photo Competition

  Everyone had great fun as we celebrated World Book day across the whole school. Children and staff looked fantastic in the character costumes and everyone took part in a range of book related activities including visits to the very sophisticated ‘Book Café’ for Years 1-6, a wonderful trip to Central Library for Reception for a special reading, singing and music making session and Nursery had story time followed by cakes and hot chocolate with Little Red Riding Hood.

  

• Children Design City of the Future

  Year 4 took part in an amazing initiative run by TeenTech with Warwick University. During a live session, they met engineering, design and technology experts from around the world, who inspired them about the importance of creating eco- friendly solutions for our future cities. Children designed and created their buildings thinking about tackling global and local environmental issues, as well as considering innovative technologies that can be used to help us in our daily lives.
