Habemus Papam - We have a Pope

It was wonderful to hear that white smoke was billowing from the Sistine Chapel chimney yesterday afternoon!  We welcome our new Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV - the first American Pope! "Peace be with all of you!" – were the first words of Pope Leo XIV as he appeared in St Peter’s Square. We pray for our new Holy Father that he may serve and guide the Church for many years.
